It’s at this time of year that we start receiving calls for the Summer months. Usually by the end of March we will be pretty much fully booked for June and most of July, so now’s the time to get in touch with us to book the inflatables for your event, whether it’s one castle for a birthday party or fifteen inflatables for a Corporate Funday. Don’t forget that we provide Bouncy Castle Hire in Nottingham, but we travel across the UK for larger jobs – the minimum spend for us to travel to you is usually £500, but give us a call to discuss your requirements.

For our regular customers, we’ve got some good news. We’ve ordered a new Princess Bounce 12ft x 12ft castle for your little Princesses and we’ve also ordered an extension to our ever popular Obstacle Course. This means that you can now hire all three pieces together to make a massive 100ft course of fun and mayhem! Keep coming back to see pictures when it’s completed, which should be towards the middle of April.

And don’t forget if you want to book the 100ft obstacle course for the Summer, as we can pretty much guarantee that it will be fully booked.

As we’re getting close to Christmas, we are doing our usual winter discount offers. So from now until 31st March 2012 if you spend upto £99 you get £10 off and if you spend £100 or over then you will get £20 off. So, for example, if you wanted the Enchanted Bounce and Slide, which is £90, it would only cost you £80 and if you wanted to hire the Jungle Bounce and Penalty Shootout together, which are normally £100 for both items, they would only cost you £80!

To claim your discount simply mention our offer at the time of booking (if you’re booking online, then put a comment in the Customer Notes section of the booking form) and we will knock your discount off for you.

This deal cannot be used with the go karts.

Here at Big Bounce towers, we’re always happy to rub shoulders with celebrities as can be seen by the recent Chief Scouts Activity Day that we attended for the Nottinghamshire Scouts. Much to our surprise, the Chief Scout himself – Bear Grylls – decided to show up in his helicopter and joined in on all of the activities. Well, it’s been a busy summer for us, so we’re looking forward to the kids going back to school! That means that we get a well earned break!

Our new online booking system has proved a massive success and we now take the majority of our bookings online. The booking system does close off two days before the delivery day though, to avoid customers making a booking while we’re out of the office delivering, so if you are wanting to make a last minute booking, you’ll need to call us to find out what we have available.

Well, our new online booking system is working a treat and we’ve never been so busy with online bookings. Booking is now so easy for our customers, that they can do it during their tea break at work or in the middle of the night if they can’t sleep. Remember – when you book, your castle is automatically reserved for you in our online diary, so no-one else can book it and a confirmation email is sent to you with information about what will happen on the day when we arrive and other important things you need to know. You can still talk to a real person if you have any questions that aren’t answered on your confirmation email or in our FAQ section on the website, by giving us a call.

Our new online booking system is now active, so you will now be able to check availability and book your chosen inflatable or bouncy castle 24 hours a day!

Simply click on the “Book Now” tab and find your chosen inflatable, then check if it’s available on your desired date and if it is just fill out the booking form. You will then be sent a confirmation email. It’s as simple as that!

Big Bounce are proud to be supplying the equipment for and helping to organise Dayncourt Schools “It’s a Knockout” to celebrate them becoming an Academy. See below for the press release:

New Academy will be a ‘KNOCKOUT’

On 1^st September 2011, South Nottinghamshire Academy will open its doors to the young people of Cotgrave, Radcliffe-on-Trent and Shelford areas in a partnership agreement with South Nottingham College. As part of the changes to learning within the community, the Academy will also provide 21st century facilities in which to study and develop.

In preparation for this transition, many changes are already taking place at Dayncourt School including designing a new school uniform and a new pastoral House system that began in January 2011. The names of the three Houses were decided by the students and staff of the school – Aquitaine, Maine and Rollo (named after the three lions from the arms of England). To celebrate the beginning of the House system, an official launch event will take place to on Friday 6^th May 2011 that will involve all students and staff.

Year 7, 8 and 9 students will all participate during the morning and Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 will take part in the afternoon. The students have selected their own teams within their own house and are looking forward to taking part in a range of activities. These include a 70ft Obstacle Course – Human Table Football – Demolition Ball – Gladiator Duel – Bungee Run – Sumo Wrestling – Welly Wanging – Tug ‘o war – Space Hopper Relay – Beat the Goalie and many more! Dan Philpotts (Assistant Head Teacher) commented that “the day has been planned to celebrate the exciting things that are happening at Dayncourt, and for the students to have a fun-packed day working in their newly formed teams”.

Good news for all of our old and new customers alike. We’ll shortly be introducing a new online booking system to our website. This means that you’ll be able to check the availability of our inflatables 24 hours a day, find out what the delivery charges are to come to your chosen area, see discounts when booking more than one inflatable and of course book the inflatables that you want to book in our online diary.

We hope this new system will improve the service that we offer to our customers, as you will automatically receive a booking confirmation email and you chosen inflatables will be reserved in our diary so that no-one else can book them until we’ve contacted you to confirm your booking information.

You can of course still call us, if you’d prefer the human touch!
